How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, you need to email us at [email protected] at least 5 business days before your next charge date.
You must have completed the minimum term of 60 days for Monthly memberships or 90 days for Quarterly memberships. Your membership will end the day before your next charge within the notice period, provided your bag order has been returned. If your bag order isn’t returned on time, you will be charged for the following month or quarter.
You can continue using your membership until the end of your current billing cycle. Please ensure that you return your bag order on time to avoid any additional membership charges. Note that we do not provide refunds for unused billing periods on monthly memberships. Additionally, you will still be liable for any damage or cleaning fees upon return. Your card will remain on file until the bag has been inspected by Quality Control.
All members with a gifted membership must also communicate their cancellation at least 5 business days before the end of their gifted membership period.
Any free membership term is excluded from your cancellation notice period, however, any partially discounted membership term is included as part of the minimum term. If you request to cancel your membership without serving your minimum term, you will be required to pay the value of the minimum membership term before your membership is cancelled. Kindly note, if you have pre-purchased any membership add-ons (including Bag Passes) that you don’t intend to use before cancelling, these will be refunded on cancellation.
What happens during the paid cancellation notice period?
Your membership will remain active until your final bag order is returned to us, in accordance with your cancellation date. Rest assured, your membership benefits will be accessible during the cancellation notice period.
Please ensure your bag order is returned before the end of your current billing cycle. If the bag order is not returned on time, you may still be charged. Note that members will not be refunded for any unused billing periods. Additionally, any outstanding fees must be settled before your membership can be officially cancelled
What happens if I miss a membership payment during the paid cancellation notice period?
Stopping your fees is not the same as giving notice. If you stop paying your membership fees, but do not give us notice, you are still obligated to pay your membership fee. If COCOON is unable to take payment on the member’s chosen payment method, that will constitute a failed payment and steps will be taken as laid out in Clause 13 of the Terms and Conditions.
